Farmhouse Pottery
Wheel thrown in Vermont, USA
New England natives + Farmhouse Pottery founders Zoe + James Zilian wanted to create a place with a modern farm aesthetic that represented farm-to-table values infused in traditionally crafted designs. Determined to sustain the next generation of local makers + farmers, they were compelled to bring authentic gifts with a deeper meaning + useful purpose to market.
In 2008, after living in Vermont for four years, Zoe + James began selling their collection at local craft shows + weekly farmer’s markets. Immersed in a culture rich in agricultural + craft heritage, they began cultivating a network of farmers + craftsmen.
MISSION :
To make + purvey farmed + crafted gifts with authenticity + character. We value simple, honest, useful designs made from quality natural materials. Our work is our commitment to sustaining the farmer + the maker, the ones who are driven to explore + challenge themselves.
